Ticket to Work
The Ticket to Work Program provides most people receiving Social Security benefits (beneficiaries) more choices for receiving employment services. Under the program, the Social Security Administration issues tickets to eligible beneficiaries who, in turn, may choose to assign those tickets to an Employment Network of their choice to get employment services, vocational rehabilitation services, or other support services necessary to help them reach their employment goals.
Goodwill of North Georgia is an approved Employment Network with the Ticket to Work program.
Goodwill provides a wide range of support and services that may be of interest to people who hold tickets. Goodwill’s main goal is to help ticket holders achieve self-sufficiency through employment. We offer individual work plans that focus on the ticket holder’s vocational goals, provide career counseling and provide ongoing support and job coaching even after ticket holders are employed. If you are interested in returning to work and assigning your ticket to Goodwill of North Georgia, please request a questionnaire by sending an email to ticket@ging.org with “Ticket to Work” as the subject.
